    Live Theatrical Performance Imagery

Live performance imagery has many of the same characteristics of sports shooting. Harsh stage lighting and varying colors can be very difficult to work with. The following imagery was captured during live performances of Burn the Floor at Post Street Theatre in San Francisco, CA

Great job with those; #2 and #5 being my personal favorites... I can appreciate how hard it is to get great shots in there.

I agree, those are some amazing shots! I think #5 is my favorite. Congrats! Would you mind posting some EXIF data?

Was this shot with the 85 1.8 or 1.2? were you using multiple bodies or swapping lenses?

My guess is that he used:

    - 1D Mark III

    - EF 24-70 f/2.8 L

    - EF 70-200 f/2.8 L (IS?)

    - EF 85 1.2 L II

Yeah my guess too. Just hoping he had the 85 1.8 instead so I didn't have to be super jealous.

For that project I utilized a single body, my only camera at the time, a Mark III switching lenses as needed. During the duration of this project I used the following lenses on the Mark III:

    1. EF 28-70mm f2.8 L
    2. EF 70-200mm f2.8 L IS
    3. EF 85mm f1.2 L II
    4. EF 135mm f2.0 L
    5. EF 17-35mm f2.8 L
    6. EF 24-105 f4.0 L IS
