So I see that someone helped me out by changing my picture to be embedded rather than as an attachment. How do you do that?

When you upload images to TDP, it shows them as a thumbnail. Double click the thumbnail and dialog box appears allowing you to choose a size.
An alternate option, since space is limited in your TDP account, is to create a flickr account. It's free, and safe (it's owned by Yahoo!). It's going to sound complicated, but it's not. After you upload images to flickr, you can choose to share them. When viewing an image, click the box with arrow coming out of it. From there, choose BBCode, and a size, then just cut and paste the code it gives you from flickr into the TDP edit box. That's it. Choose an image, share, BBCode, choose a size, copy, paste, done.
If you want to preview the post with the images visible, click "Go Advanced" after pasting the BBCode. If you need to edit, just scroll down to the edit box, fix anything you want and click the "Preview Post" button to refresh the preview with your changes.
