2018 - Image of the Week #25

Wow such huge variety in this week's submissions... I'm just about at a loss what to do. However I kept going back to Jerry's "Little Pal" image. It is very well composed, with the background lined up very nicely behind the boy. So I'm giving it the nod for this week. I'm also quite impressed with Mark's shots of the B-17. As an interesting side note, I heard that the expression "the whole nine yards" came from the length of gun belt used on these planes. If a gunner shot the whole belt at an incoming fighter plane, he would say that he gave him the whole nine yards!
