My daughter is graduating from point and shoot to almost DSLR


She wants the flip out screen.


I can't decide between the Canon powershot SX40 and the Lumix ZF100


The Canon T31 is a little to large and the Nikon 3100 does not have the tilt screen which for some reason is a must.


Suggestions?
