The hard part is I'm finding the birds aren't that crazy about sitting on the perch. They stop by the feeder, eat, and then fly back to the tree line 30-40 feet back. Decent opportunities to photo on the feeder or suet cakes are easily 7 or 8 to 1 to them stopping on the perch. It must be a matter of placement primarily I guess.
