							Landscape: Starry Night

This shot cost me my intervolometer. I had the tripod in the water with the camera about 8" above the water surface. The cord was draped over the camera, and it slipped off into the lake. A bag of rice did not bring it back to life. I had the tripod in the water with the camera about 8" above the water surface. The cord was draped over the camera, and it slipped off into the lake. EF 24 mm f/1.4L
 f/2
 24 seconds

Edit: I am hoping to go to this spot tonight and see if I can get some northern light action there also. It looks like it will be clear (unlike last night), and the lights are supposed to be active. But I may be to far south. I was seriously thinking of driving 250 miles north to the "Wilderness National Dark Sky Park", but my old body keeps talking me out of it.
