    Congratulations Jerrytech1! Assignment #74: Perspective

On behalf of Pat (conropl), I would like to present the finalists for Assignment #74: Perspective

    As described by Pat:

    Perspective:
Produce a shot that gives a sense of perspective... be it converging lines, shallow DOF to produce a 3D effect, or any means of conveying depth to your shot. If you need examples, you do not have to look any further than the recent "2015 Image of the Week #8". There you will find Jayson's "Sun Rays" where he has deep DOF and the sun rays converge to a point; you also have Jayson's "Reaching" which is self explanatory; and finally you have Zach's "Looking Up" which shows converging lines of the wall to portray the depth. Use your imagination and creativity to come up with something a little different that we all can learn from.

    And the Finalists are:

M_Six - "Thousand Yard Stare". I just found the premise funny. One of the things I was looking for was depth, and you came up with the "Thousand Yard Stare". The dork in me found that funny.

Kayaker72 - With deep DOF, the leading line of the road converges to the tall buildings at the end, and the sky converges down to the same point. Actually, the converging elements create the perspective and feeling of depth used no less than four elements converging to the same point (road, snow banks, buildings/trees on each side, and the sky from above).

Jerrytech1 - "Reach..." . Very creative use of shallow DOF to create depth in the picture. There is not much I do not like about this. Neat idea that was well executed (and makes me wish I had done that)

The poll will be open for 5 days.

    Good luck.
