    It is a tie.

    You all win.

Can I do that? I think I may be one of the worst judges of photos.

I love Jayson's snowflake shots. I've tried something similar and have yet to get one I really like. Then Zach comes in with some more macro work that I am finding mesmerizing with both great colors, a bit of contrast and detail. Love the low contrast B&W by Patrick. Very nicely done and a slight different twist, a bit of a "1970's" feel to it. Then, great eagle shot by Joel. Looks to have a bit of extra sharpening (clarity/texture/etc) but that just adds to the feeling of potential energy about to be released.

So, how to decide..... I could see the snowflake on a wall or being used somehow. It is perfectly parallel to the image sensor/focus plane which really stands out. Yep...I am going with it.

    Winner is Jayson and "Snowflake"

    Great photos everyone. Thanks...Brant

Thanks Brant. Yeah, it felt right to back off the contrast with this one. I did the same thing with the color version.

70's is a good description. I was recently going though some of my 35mm film shots from the early 2000s and guess I was inspired
