Are all the macro shots on your Flickr after the first batch using this technique? Or did you find your macro lens? If they're all loose lens shots, then I'd say you're really getting the hang of it.

No sadly these two are the only ones that I thought looked good enough to post, no on my macro lens too, most have just been cropped versions from my two other lenses.
I’m still looking to train my shaky hands until I find a small tripod to help, I got one shot today that may work, haven’t taken it to Post yet but will post if it did.

I am sure there are many techniques and thought about what Macro photography should be.
For me its great detail in the small things of the world in an interesting shot.
Of all your pictures so far, the bee is the one. Detail around its eyes makes it work.
I have found my macro lens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!¡!
It was in a clothes bin that had been taken out to a storage building we have. No clue how it got there….
