Well, keep this in mind--years later, it won't matter how good the pictures actually are from a technical standpoint. You'll just be glad you have them...to look at them...and remember. Take as many as you can, as they'll only grow up once. ;-)

The lighting in the black and white one bounced aganst the ceiling works really well *and* it creates some very nice catch lights if I may say so.

50mm, f1.8, 1/200, iso 100, EV-1, used B&W with softlight in PS and then masked out the eye color.
