    Interesting, I've spent a lot of time on the review side of this site but never noticed that! Although there are no 500s there.

    I've just come across a 2nd hand Canon 500 f4.5 for £1200 (actually 1400 Euros). Any thoughts on this lens? I've noticed the Sigma doesn't have IS either.
