I just placed my order for the old non-IS Macro lens. Amazon.com is taking preorders for it - price: 1049.99 dollars!


I'm considering cancelling my old order and upgrading for the IS. But let's wait and see what Bryan has to say about the new IS Macro lens before I shell out 500 extra bucks.
