Re: Post Your Best Nature Shots!
hey FG - really nice shots.
was wondering, how do you get your file sizes so small? 50K?
trying to upload a pic that's 196K and keep getting the "exceeds file size" error.
Your pix are so nice - and the .jpg quality looks awesome, but I see your file size is only 54K for that last one.
how do ya do that?

Re: Post Your Best Nature Shots!
jeez, just tried a Save 4 Web at medium, got it down to 80K and I still got the error.
Is it me or is something buggy going on right now?

Re: Post Your Best Nature Shots!
I have the latest version of DPP (digita photo professional). I reduce the picture size to 800x533, save in 16bit tif, sharpen it and save again in lowest quality jpeg, thats all. Make sure you have a tiff image or you will get very bad jpegartifacts from saving injpegtwice. You always have to sharpen the down-rezed version of the picture or it willlook soft.

Re: Post Your Best Nature Shots!
Canoli it could be that you have too many files in general uploaded to TDP. Sometimes regardless of file size, if you have too many, you cannot upload more.
