Why would one choose one over the other??


I'm in the market for a new tripod head, clamp and most of whatis included in panorama photography ... so thanks for any input.

They're both very nice. If you are doing landscape and panoramic shots, are you in a hurry? If so, the quick release might be helpful, but if not, the knob style is my preference. I like the infinitely adjustable tightness available. The QR version is either locked down or open essentially. All the RRS stuff is nice. Really, I don't think you could go wrong either way.
