    Charging my DSLR battery from USB



    I'm going to be doing some out of country traveling in the near future. I can pretty much charge everything I need off of my Macbook Pro, except my DSLR. Does anyone know of a charger that will charge a LP-E6 from a USB port?

    No. The LP-E6 is an 1800 mAh battery - it would take a long time and use 30-40% of your MBP's full charge capacity to charge one. However, like the AC adapter for your MBP, the Canon charger takes 100-240 V at 50/60 Hz, and just needs a plug adapter to work worldwide.
