That photo definitely has some clipped highlights.
The only possible issue that I can think of is that one of your lenses has a significant aperture activation variance. It could also combine with a 1/3 stop difference in lens transmissivity (vs. the kit lens, for example).
However, the most likely explanation is that your lens has a PEBCAP error. To diagnose this type of error, take two identical photos: one with the 24-105 and one with your other lens.
- Same tripod position
- Same lighting (i.e. no clouds moving around, etc.)
- Same focal length
- Same f-number
- Same exposure duration
- Same ISO
- Same picture profile
- Automatic Lighting optimizer disabled
- Automatic Vignetting correction disabled.
Then post the photos.
