Toronto's City News says it's fact, and has public opinion on video to prove it.

I guess the only logical update is to replace medium format with SLR? I mean I don't see a lot of medium format users compared to mainstream SLR and cam fones.

Eitherway, if cam fones and P&S gets an update, so will the SLR market and medium formats. It's evolution.

Doubtful, there are always limitations to smaller when it comes to sensors. Same deal with film, it isn't just a digital thing. Button layout, ect will also hamper a small camera replacing a pro body/lens.

Not to mention it lens tech. Nokia exec: full of s.

Just a thought: Which type of equipment do you think the Nokia Exec. would prefer to have his family portraits shot with, a mobile phone or a DSLR? I think the last, so although he states that his mobile phones can replace larger and heavier equipment, I don't believe he is completely honest. HD does not, and never will replace good lens quality!

Probably a 1Ds Mark IV and 24-70 L IS USM, with 2 elinchrom Ranger packs and 4 S heads, attached to two Elinchrom 39" deep-octas and two 27" softboxes, all triggered by PW Plus II's.

...Sorry, I do that sometimes. [:O]
