    Canon 40D Discontinued?



    Pardon me if this is old news, but I thought that the release of the 50D was meant to complement the 40D - Not replace it. And, as far as I believe, the 40D was available for purchase a short while ago. It is now listed (or has been listed) as discontinued at B&H and on the Canon Canada website.





    Has this been the case for a while now or did this just happen? 60D?


    Insight would be appreciated.

    It was a while ago. Probably a month or two after the 50D was released.
