Recently sold items

I recently sold 3 Canon lenses, a 2X II extender, and an external battery pack. All were advertised on this forum as well as another popular photo forum. Interestingly, all items sold from the ads on the other forum and I had no contacts from anyone who indicated they saw my ads here. Is this site too new/untrusted? Or just coincidental?

I'm envious that you were able to sell yours! I've have my 300mm f/4 IS listed here and on ebay with no luck and my lens is about as new as used gets! I only used it about a month or so and have cut around $250 off what I paid.And I thought glass holds their value!?

I'd love to get that 300mm f/4 IS but it'd have to be a trade...you need a 32" Spanish made U.S.M.C. NCO sword, The Amazing Spiderman #129 (first appearance of the Punisher) and an assortment of Blue Ray movies that I thought kinda sucked? Oh, and a ST-E2.

Honestly I wouldn't buy from someone on here I wasn't somewhat familiar with. Of coarse I haven't bought anything used. I've gotten many things refurbed though. If someone was selling what I was looking for, when I was looking for it, I'd jump on it but it hasn't happened, yet.

USPS, um.....no way, I've read that's not a good idea. I guess I'll have to keep looking locally.


Knowing my luck, I'll get 'pooched' with brokers fees and other duties.


This particular lens here in Canada retails for a disgusting price of $1500 - ARGH!
