Should be good! TheEF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6<span style="color: red;"]LIS USM is my go-to lens for birds and wildlife, and it sees a lot of use on my 7D. The T2i/550D is a quite capable body, but the great thing about buying excellent lenses is that they'll last you through multiple bodies.
