Very nice captures. The dragon fly is a great shot. I usually have to walk quite a distance with the boys in the wagon to even see dragon flies and they are very skittish most of the time. The one I captured was having a snack so he let me get good and close. I haven't seen a blue dragon like the one you captured. I will definitely be on the lookout. Great shots.

They perch all over the place, and seem to re-visit the same perch many times, so although the above shot was handheld, there's time to set up a tripod if you like.
I saw a very striking one fly by me the other day, a damselfly called the Ebony Jewelwing (I think) - electric blue body and completely jet black wings. Unfortunately, it zipped by without landing, and I've only seen the one. I'll be on the lookout, too!
