I tend to be hypocritical at times. I always preach character and this and that but then I find myself pixel peeping and getting critical of smallest flaw. I'm glad I tried this lens because it has the combination of sharpness and buttery smoothness that makes quite giddy. I giggled like a school girl when I saw the arms of the sunglasses had almost completely fallen off into the background.

Well I mean how once it is dialed it, some report that it will randomly back focus.

Don't feel cheated I've seen your shots from the Sig. They are great. They were pushing close to buying the Sig. I have more money than brains (side note I'm broke as hell) so I went with the Canon. I'll be honest, I wanted to dislike this lens so I could return it and buy the Sig for that much less. But I'm hooked now.

Thanks Keith, and I'm pretty sure that I would have made the same decision that you made if I were in your shoes. Why would you trade in a lens you <s>like</s>love for a lens that has potential, but no guarantee to be a better lens?

Looking forward to see more soon and honestly it makes me want to do a forced 50mm f1.4-day sometime soon []
