    Re: Camera Backpack

To add to the growing list of backpacks, here are some others I've come across.

    ClikElite

    Naneu

    F-Stop

Unfortunately I have no experience to offer with any of the above.

Personally my search for a general purpose backpack (with an emphasis on the outdoors) has led me to pre-order the as yet unreleased F-Stop Loka. My number one criteria and the reason I dismissed a number of the more common camera backpacks was the need for a good amount of storage space for equipment other than camera gear (wet weather gear, warm clothing etc.).

    Thanks Jon, My Pleasure!

By the way, here are some Kata-Bag Videos for the HB-207 and HB-205, as well as the smaller R-Series if anyone is interested:

If you view a few of the HB-Family Videos, then you should be able to better appreciate the harness system, the thick surrounding outer-shell armor (TST Protection), the plush interior and bottom pillow, as well as the hardened exterior top & bottom.

Check them out at your leisure!

Thanks everyone for your replies. They have been very helpful andare exactly what I wanted. So, I'll be spending the next few days looking at the line-ups of Kata, Think Tank and F-stop.

Rich, thanks for taking the time for the detailed account of all the bags you've tested and the video link. It was definitely very helpful.

King...nice picture. I am going to take the next little while to learn more about my 7d and 15-85 lens. But even in taking a few pictures around the house I know I will want a faster lens.

    Thanks all.
