John, that picture is super cute. That is definitely one to put in a frame above the fireplace!

I wanted to test my new Paul C. Buff foldable softboxes to see if I'll be able to use them in place of strip banks under certain situations. However, while I was testing, I grabbed a few useful portraits (this just happened to be my favorite).

    John,

Thanks to you and your adorable daughter, I purchased the 85mm f/1.2L II and it arrived this week.<span>My Credit Card Company would like to Thank You for having me buy this very expensive lens.[]

I'm still testing it out and So far, So good! I can't believe the diameter of the 1.2 aperture, it's huge! I really wanted a low light indoor Lens for events and family photos. One of my employees is getting married on Labor Day weekend and I'm an invited guest. She hired a Photographer, but she also asked me to take candids and I thought this would be the perfect lens for that on my 7D.

<span>I was hoping this Lens would double as an Indoor Basketball and Volleyball Lens, but after trying it around the house that seems to be out of the question, due to the slow Auto Focus and slow Electronic Manual Focus. I guess it takes a long time to move all of that glass. But, I'm sure when used what it was intended for, like Portraits.., the pictures will be absolutely stunning.

    Thanks Again,

    Rich

    John,

Can you follow me over to a new thread, because I need some pointers with the new lens and I don't want to bog down this thread?
