Not quite the same as having HSS but I have used it at times.


Just a different way of doing things I suppose if you're interested.

Ben, I tried this technique today----Didn't work with the 7D because when I set up for off camera flash, the highest shutter speed allowed is 250. Of course, if I set up to use the higher shutter speeds, the off camera flash won't fire. I couldn't figure out how to get past this.
