    DIY Vinyl Background



    I just bought a background support system with paper, I would really like to get a vinyl backdrop but I can't afford to buy one at the moment. I am looking for a cheaper alternative, even making my own... Any ideas or thoughts.

    Shower curtain? Target (US department store) has them in a variety of colors for less than $5 each.

    I can think of two alternatives right now in addition to the shower curtains. IKEA has such a large selection of window and shower curtains. Some as cheap as $19.99. They may work. Or if Seattle has a fashion district where they sell textiles like in the fashion district in LA. You are in Seattle right? I just went to the fashion district in LA earlier this week and shot some amazing fabric that I will use as backdrops. Everything I bought ranged from $2.50-$4.00 a yard by 60 inches. I buy 5 yards. So yeah, hope that helps.
