    Seamless Paper or Vinyl



    Hello all,


    I am deciding on whether to by white paper or vinyl for my backdrop system. Any suggestions?

    Paper creases easily, but requires less support. It is also cheap enough to cut off damaged sections for fresh shoots. Vinyl is more durable, a longer term solution IMO and the glossy reflections at low angles look nice. Be sure to pick up some small spring clamps so you can pinch the roll and keep it from gravity feeding into a folded mess. I learned this the easy way by watching it happen to someone else.
