To be honest I don't know what type of owl it is. If you'd really really want to know I could ask, but at the moment I have no clue.


It is a shot from my best of 2009 album so I had to look back into the database to look up some exif [] Made with my first camera.


Exif: Canon XSi/450D with 70-200 f4L @ 200mm f5 ISO-400 1/400


If it helps any of the bird-identifiers. I believe this "large"guy was only like 20cm (2/3 feet) when I took the shot. Have no clue how big they grow, but I don't think they get much larger than that.
