    What did you shoot? August 30th through September 12th



    Looks like the normal guy who posts these "What did you shoot" topics is on vacation or something [:P].

    I enjoy these weekly show and tells so I'm posting it in his place, this time

    I went to the butterfly conservatory near Niagara. Both of these were taken with the 50mm 1.8.

    Ok guys. I thought it was a bit redundant to have two of these threads floating about. So, I thought I'd use my mod privilegesand changethe title of this thread to the dates that Jayson would have used (through Sept 12) and delete Jayson's other post. We'll use this one this time, and next week Jayson can perform his regular duties.

    Those are great butterfly shots! Since I didn't see a butterfly last week, much less photograph one, I'm changing it up a bit. New trick this week...

    Hiking in Bear Brook State Park on Sunday we spotted this little guy. Itis an Red Eft, which is the<span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #000000; font-size: 9pt;"]terrestrial <span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #000000; font-size: 9pt;"]juvenile form of the Eastern Newt.


    7D, EFS 15-85 @ 85 mm, 1/40, f5.6, ISO 400, -3 flash compensation

    It pains me to post these as they keep reminding me that summer is *officially*over - once the Canadian National Exhibition closed.
