I could wait to sell the printer for awhile until the rebates are over

Also I could take advantage of the double rebates that canon is offering for some lenses when purchased with a 7D

    You won
We're a Canon/Profoto family: five cameras, sixteen lenses, fifteen Profoto lights, too many modifiers.

Even so, $550 for a 7D seems pretty good to me

From what I recall, those rebates have run almost continuously (maybe with a couple of weeks off) for the past year. The lower end model, thePixma Pro9000, lists for $400 at online retailers. New ones are listed for $200 on my local CL, there are at least 4-5 of them on that board at any given time. I'd go a little further than Pete, and say you may have a hard time selling one at all, unless you price it very, very aggressively...

Buying the printer with the rebate is a good idea if you want the printer. It

perhaps it would be better for me to just sell my T2i for $750 and then buy a refurbished 50D for $900?

But I really like the video on the 7D =/

After putting some more thought into it I have decided to just stick with my T2i for now. My plan was a little more complicated than I had hoped for. hahah []
