This is a more creative entry then my last because I planned the shallow DOF. I thought it would make for a more compelling image drawing interest to the pitcher as she exerts the power to throw the ball but tell the whole story. Shot with the 40D and the 70-200 lens. Selective focus

I like this one freelanceshots......nice use of DOF.
Could you kindly put in the EXIF info.....thanks.
Regards,
Bill
Had to go dig this info up. Just downloaded it from flickr as it was faster then tracking it down on one of the external hard drives. I always save my images for the web when posting them where most of the important EXIF data is deleted.

Here is just one of my favorites I captured earlier this summer. I just got focused on the kitten, and just as I pressed the shutter button I could see it turn its head. Thinking it would be a blurred shot of the kitten turning its head, instead this is what I ended up with.
Taken with a Canon EOS 50D with a EF 100-400mm L IS lens at 400mm f/7.1

Here is another of mine, someone else suggested I post this one.
Canon EOS 50D with EF 100-400mm L IS lens @ 400mm f/6.3, 1/400s exposure.
I really like the first one I posted, however I think this is the one I would prefer to be judged for this assignment.
Awesome captures everyone, simply fantastic...
