Very beautiful Denise, I also really like #1, though the water droplets in #2 are very cool too. Did nature make the droplets, or did you give it a helping hand?

Thanks! I actually started out taking photos of the bushes using my 70-200mm set at 135mm to see how I would like that length to satisfy my latest craving for the 135mm f/2.0 L and once I saw how pretty these leaves looked, I quickly switched to the macro. I'm glad I did!!

We don't get such wonderful leaf colours over here in Britain. Most years the leaves just blow off in a gale before the colours get interesting. You've done well to capture the detail, Denise.

Here's my first offering in this thread. I came across this frog while on a hike on the west coast of Scotland earlier this summer. First shot is the full frame, second is a 100% crop.

    Handheld.

Before any comedians jump in (you know who you are) we can all see that the frog is handheld, but I'm referring to the camera.

Thanks, Andy! Autumn is my favorite season but unfortunately it is getting to be a shorter and shorter time of year around here in Wisconsin. Very cold temps moved in very quickly this year! I have on occasion seen these cute little frogs around these parts but it is a very rare sighting. Nice shot!

BTW - I sure hope someone else was holding the frog while you took the shot and you weren
