This one is a wonderful shot with the subject in crisp focus, captures a great expression and moment, excellent subject isolation - just what a great portrait should have, IMO. Unfortunately, I didn't see any of those elements in the other pictures you posted then pulled.
Sorry Dr., There I go behaving like an badly raised child againI do really apologize sincerely for my "temper tantrum" and poorly thought out replies
I am very sensitive at times sadly, but I will try harder to breathe first then reply! You know I am having a real hard time taking decent enough hand held photos with this lens! Man I miss the good ol trusty 135L! Well as the wife always tells me, the grass isn't always greener on the other side! I am in the process of getting a decent manfrotto tripod to solve some of my problematic shaky photos! That photo above was just by pure chance with the awesome 135 L! My wife was outback getting the BBQ grill to wash before we headed out to some dinner at our favorite sushi place thats when i glanced over and saw how the light just fell on here beauty fantastically so i grabbed the 40d and 135mm f/2 L and shot away from our door step some without her knowledge some after, and presto some very neat photos! Thanks again neuroanatomist for your replies, and I humbly apologize for my behavior
Sincerely, Americo Salazar .Rodriguez. (Brujo)(Capitalist)Garza!
