I have never tried mpix, but from your recommendation i might try them in the future.


I print a lot at home and am happy with the control over the prints i make.


I work with a local framer here in Minneapolis who gives me an excellent price on custom framing which allows me to cut my own matte sizes.

I have been using paper from a company called Red River Paper called "polar satin" which has produced some excellent results for me.


Prior to using Red River, I had beed using MOAB brand up until a year ago and the paper quality from Red River has been exceptionally better.


With Moab, I would get some sheets that had blemishes on the finish but with Red River, every piece was consistently perfect.


I have used their greeting cards, 8.5"x11", and their 13"x19" paper so far.
