Re: STAY AWAY FROM ADOBE PREMIERE ELEMENTS 9! ERROR! ERROR! ERROR! HELP!

    Hi Bob -

Thank you for the suggestion. I just tried it and it says Windows has determined that I have the best driver for my device. NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE.

    Still, thanks for the suggestion!

Ok Denise----I had similar problems with "Premier" elements when I first got it. It also looks like Premier Elements and Photoshop Elements has the same opening screen---so this is a shot in the dark but it worked for premier elements so maybe it will help for Premier Photoshop----

If your running anti virus or firewall (Especially McAfee), try turning it off, then run Elements----Do this when your off line just for safety.

This is the limits of my skill set, if it doesn

    Hi Denise...

I would recommend that you update your drivers via Nvidia's website. Though under normal conditions one may be able to get away with the built in *native* drivers from MS, however; there are some applications that require further functionality of the video card. I have inlcuded the possible link that may be of interest to you:

Thanks, Elmo!! That worked and now everything is running smoothly! I never would have thought of going and finding that link you provided!! Wow! What a learning experience this has been!

Now, I just have two small questions ...

    1. Do I need to do this that it had on that page you linked ...•Supports the new version of MotionDSP's video enhancement software, vReveal, which adds support for HD output. NVIDIA customers can download a free version of vReveal that supports up to SD output here.

    and

    2. Why when I go to open file, can I only see the jpeg photos, the raw photos have a PSE or PRE on them and I can't view them until I open them in the program?

Well, I'm just happy everything works ok now! Thanks everyone!!! Step by step everyones advice helped me to get both of these programs working!

    Happy Holidays!

    Denise

EDIT: Oops ...3rd question - Do you think it'ssafe to remove Version 8 now from my computer?
