Alan where were those pictures taken? Geysers? Foutains? very cool
Southern Wisconsin. This guy sets up a huge area to display these sculptures. Water is pumped to the individual locations with above ground PVC piping. The larger piping brings water from a well pump, and the pressure from the pump squirts it out the top of several, narrow vertical tubes. Just a little spray comes up through the top of the narrow pipe. With the sub zero temps, this spray begins to freeze and forms these sculptures.
Alan - That is a really cool set-up! What city/county in Southern WI?
Denise
Denise, it's just north of Maiden Rock.
