I recently got a used 1D MK III and love it! i am only a highschool student and i can tell its going to last me many many years to come due to its durability. The fact that you mentioned its only 10MP, doesnt seem like a problem to me. he dynamic range is great! and there is no use for anything above 8MP unless you are making large prints or putting it on a Billboard! Well if it was me i would go for it because i am so glad i made the descicion to get one and with your 7D you have video so your whole range is covered. The ISO is fantastic on the 1DIII.
