Oh, I have a polarizing lens, too, a tiffen that is so cheap I stopped using it because it degraded the photos I used it with.
And let us not forget the three SunpakPOS tripods I have purchased serially because each broke. I "didn't have the money for a good one" to start, but if you add up how much I spent in total I could have gotten a good one to start...
I have a wireless remote, too.
Sigh...is there a fund for underfunded serious amateur photographers?[:'(]

If it makes anyone feel better, the "have access to" section is usually grabbed up by the others I work with and I could consider borrowed gear. The Always Carry is my personal gear.
I Started the thread yet here is my wimpy set up
-Canon Rebel XT
-Tamron 70-300 (crappy) 4-5.6
-18-55 kit lens
-500 DG ST SUper )(sigma)
-GItzo reporter tripod (The only valued item in my bag)
- Two crappy Delicacy 180's studio strobes- and one of the two valued items the ALIEN BEES CYBER SYNCS lol
I'm pretty sure the Bugatti Veyron would beequivalentto owning everything canon makes. which is not what I own, I have a toyota camery [*-)]
anyways, in my bag is this:
Canon 30D
17-40 f4 L
50 f1.8
B+W UV and CPL (77mm)
three CF cards (18GB total)
and a cheap tripod (although thats not inmy bag
Let's see...going out of memory here since my gear is at home and I'm at work:
Canon EOS 40D (about to add the Canon EOS 5D MkII...finally)
Canon Powershot SD990IS (for when I'm just taking snapshots)
Canon EF 70-200 f/2.8L IS USM
Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L USM
Canon EF 100 f/2.8 Macro USM
Canon EF-S 10-22 f/3.5-4.5 USM
Canon Speedlite 580EX II
Canon Speedlite 580EX
Canon MR-14EX Macro Ring Lite
Canon STE2 Speedlite Transmitter
And a bunch of other junk...Gitzo tripod and head, H+W filters, Lowepro bags, etc.
Next purchase (besides the EOS 5D MkII) is the Canon EF 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L IS USM & the Canon EF 16-35 f/2.8L II USM (gotta have something wide angle for the 5D).
Luckely, I just have a girlfriend, so I don't have to worry about explaining any new purchases until we get married! I better get the REALLY expensive stuff out of the way now...
