Mods to the Website: Let me know what you think

Bob,

You have some excellent shots in your portfolio, and the layout of your site shows them to good effect. I like it.

Like Peety3, I have an eye for the small details. I noticed that images 9 and 15 in the New Arrivals gallery are duplicates. In the Birds Gallery, "Egrit" should be "Egret".

Many of the images use the file name as a caption, which I didn't like. I'd prefer if you used descriptive captions or left them blank.

Several of the images are very similar. Whilst they are all excellent, I think the collection would look stronger if you pick the best one where you have several shots of the same subject with the same background.

Thanks for inviting us to look, it brightened up a very dull day here.

Andy, Thanks for the very detailed look-see. I have made the corrections and changes that you, Peety and others suggested--Just one thing: Its very difficult to name all shots---so, some of the shots have less than imaginitive names---But, with your suggestions, I think it looks much better.


Thanks again for your assistance and keep the comments coming. You guys have been so helpful---Now all I have to do is get some more ----and better shots on the site.


The good news is, The wife and I have rented a beach house on the outer banks of South Carolina this summer, so lots of opportunity for new material---Different Birds---yeah.

I don't have any suggestions, just want to say that it looks great. I like the what about Bob section, and of course nice that you provided a resources page and referenced all the great people on here.

Thanks Nick. and thanks for the reminder----I need to remove a couple of the "resources" off of that page---it seems they want me to become an "Affiliate" before using thier Logo---since I am not in this for the money "or lack of"----I'll just remove thier logo from my page for the time being. Regarding the "What about Bob" page, I did have to give credit--where credit is due. I have learned so much from this site, I just thought it was fitting to give credit. Maybe Bryan will make a dime or two to keep it going.
