JJ. As usual, great shot. I like this one the best out of the series of this hawk. It almost seems like the hawk is in a victory pose.

I got so lucky today! These ducks were very coraporative and I actually didn't have to crop the pair and only slightly the single one. But I still had to use my 2X extender.

ISO 6400, 2000th of a second, wide open, tripod. Used DXO to proccess the RAW and DPP to downrez them.

As luck would have it, MY 60D LCDBLANKED OUT!!!!!!![:@] But this time I've a return policy![Y] But the camera still works so I can take pictures untill I send it back.

I did some research and found out that some other people have the same problem. I wonder if this some sort of defect because the 60D is so new and they are just pumping them out as fast as they can.Like Toyota.

Thanks for your kind comments, withthe 60D viewfindermanual focusingis easy in comparison to my XTi! That viewfinder was almost imposible to manual focus with a 2X TC, never mind track a moving subject.[:S]

    Cheers,

In good lighting without deep shadow ISO 6400 is very clean, with some shadows it's still very good. While the noise comes very good out of the camera I found that it takes noise reduction much better than the t1i I tried and WAY better than my old XTi. DXO also is much better at noise reduction than anything else I have tried.
