Nice Robin Denise, very sharp and well exposed with a nice, un-cluttered background.
I took this about 15 minutes ago .....

Canon 550D 131mm, 1/250 f/5.6 ISO100
Canon 550D 220mm, 1/400 f/6.3 ISO 250
Canon 550D 250mm, 1/400 f/6.3 ISO500
Canon 550D 187mm, 1/4000 f/6.3 ISO1600 (I was shooting this guy in flight, so the settings are all screwy)
Canon 550D 400mm + 1.4X, 1/320 f/6.3 ISO400
Canon 550D 400mm + 1.4X, 1/250 f/5.6 ISO400
Canon 550D 250mm, 1/800 f/10 ISO100
Canon 550D 250mm, 1/500 f/8 ISO100
All shot using my lowly 55-250 kit lens or 300 f/4L at a Hawking convention or local slough

Very nice images! The third one crops too much of the Hawk, is this the un-cropped picture?
The forth one would be much nicer if you could have shot that a lower angle.
The fifth one I would crop for a different composition, mabye a virtical.
The sixth one I would crop also.
The rest are excelent!
John.
Thanks.
The hawk pics are all unedited, uncropped.
