Well, about 45 minutes. Some of that was spent scouting the inside of the barn (there were several different places inside the barn that we could have used), convincing myself that monolights and the CyberCommander would be useless inside the tiny, dark space, and then actually setting up and positioning the speedlights, modifiers, and triggering methods.

But, I must say, not all of that background light is my doing. At some point in the past, someone shot some buckshot into the back of the barn. I noticed the holes and made a conscious effort to include the sunlight streaming through them in the shot.

Almost exactly my reaction. Great shot, Sean!

I'm inspired to get serious about lighting.

Here's an architectural portrait - and a portrait of an architect - shot today with a Canon 1D MkIIn and Sigma 15-30mm f/3.5-5.6 EX at 18mm, 1/200 sec @ f/11, tripod mount. Strobist: 430EX at +2 to camera right on light stand shooting through white umbrella, fired by ST-E2.

Ade, I know you're new here, but we have rules about nudity in the forums.

Just kidding.[:P] It's a great portrait. You seem to have quite a talent for all types of photography from the various posts I've seen here today.
