It's when you don't see the light that you know your good. I thought the light between the planks was "luck". Should have known better. How long did it take to set up something like this?

Well, about 45 minutes. Some of that was spent scouting the inside of the barn (there were several different places inside the barn that we could have used), convincing myself that monolights and the CyberCommander would be useless inside the tiny, dark space, and then actually setting up and positioning the speedlights, modifiers, and triggering methods.


But, I must say, not all of that background light is my doing. At some point in the past, someone shot some buckshot into the back of the barn. I noticed the holes and made a conscious effort to include the sunlight streaming through them in the shot.
