Red "X" instead of photos :( Could someone please tell me how to fix this!

All of a sudden I am seeing red "x"

I have fixed this in the past by restarting my computer. Do you use IE, Firefox or Chrome? Or are you one of those Mac people? []

I did the restart and still having issues but not quite as bad as it was. Only a few pics here and there at random are still not showing up. I have IE and haven

It's not you, it's flickr. Lots of users are having problems today, including me. The flickr forums are alive with protests from angry users that can't see their pictures, but so far no explanation has been offered, apart from one witty contributor who suggested that perhaps the moon was too close and irritated the server farm.

I removed some of mine from Flickr for editing and as soon as I did it the link to this site disappears. To put them back on I need to completely re-post.


I notice that sometimes a picture is posted as new to Flickr, people comment on it and then progressively move down the list of new posts from your contacts. But then it jumps back to the front of the line up again. And then there is another rash of comments attached to the same image. I don
