yeah, I know what do you mean. my dream set up should be 1DIV and the 600mm version II or the 800mm with those new TCs. but I have to consider the weight and especially the money issue[]


500mm version I with TCs is the "cheapest" way to go( unlike Fast Glass, I can't live without the AF and the cheaper non IS version is the alternative choice IMO) and a lot lighter than the 600mm I.

I use Benro tripod and it's wimberley type head, it's another cheaper alternative way, it works pretty good to me so far. I never use a monopod,but I guess it should be better when shooting BIF.

yes, I agree. I wish there was better colorful BG, I didn't like the blue sky anyway, so I was lazy to work on the BG very much[]
