The 24-105 does come in another configuration, with a larger hood/cap. That is the one that I bought and it is very easy to drink out of. I wanted the 70-200 but they had none, so I bought what I could at the time.


Having lived with the 24-105 for a few weeks, I have found it suits my coffee style better. I drink either a flat white or a machiato, both drinks suited to a smaller container for a stronger caffeine hit. It has become my travel mug of choice.


But I see where Rick is coming from and there could be time where a larger volume beverage is what is needed.
