I guess I do mean to pry, but in a good way....Are you getting very close to the birds? Shooting with a tripod?? All of your recent photos have had great detail.[img]/emoticons/emotion-21.gif[/img]

Thanks! I have been doing a few things differently. I have been able to get somewhat closer to the birds now, also using the tripod more lately now that the 10 ft. ofsnow is goneand using more than just DPP for post-processing. I've been using DxO Optics Pro 6 more and learning a few things in photoshop and lightroom.

I've been away for a few days, on a fishing trip with my brother-in-law in South Carolina. Nice shots everyone!


Could not leave my photo gear at home and I was pleasantly surprised to find several Osprey nests in small cypress trees pretty much at eye level from the boat. My host was kind enough to take some time for me to take some shots so here's one to start with......
