Here I croped it so there is less room to the left, the first version was uncropped so I had to make do.

Here is a Great Blue Heron in sweet light with some unbelievable lily pads!

Taken at 600mm with 2X extender, wide open,ISO 6400,800/th sec, tripod. This is the firstdecent shot ofa Heron I have taken so far. He just wouldn't take off! I stayed there for half an hour and waved my hands made noise used my flash, nothing made him move!
There are more backyard birds in the works.
