Our 7-week-old kitten 'Meeko'. Canon 450D, 17-55mm, 1/200 at f/3.5, ISO 100. Window lighting diffused with a bedsheet (budget cuts).

Gregg: Your cat looks pretty chilled. Nice focus.

I have nine new pets. Baby speckled king snakes that I pulled out of the planter at a snake killers home.

They are Speckled King snakes. Not venomous. These little guys will strike at you but its kind of funny. They are all about to shed their first skin so they are on the grumpy side. After they shed I can hopefully give them their first meal. Might let them go back into the wild after the first feeding. May hang onto one as a pet.

I love the eyes on that huskamute, ham. The photo of the spaniel washing the other dog (I'm no good with breeds) is pretty cute!

    Healing brush? []

Here's a stray cat that we've been feeding and now are trying to rehome. The picture is meant to get his "good side"! ... but let's be honest, he's not the most beautiful cat around.

P.S. I realise that retouching your pets is probably a sure sign that you've lost the plot. But I've been known to...
