@Raid, for the nest shots I could get as close as 20 feet, but usually had to back off a bit to improve angle and capture more of the scene. The inflight shots varied---sometimes I got lucky and some times I didn

Joel, thats a great shot. I love how it looks like the pelican is touching the water but it hasn
