    Thanks, JJ! My settings are really messed up on this one! I went from shooting in the shade with ISO of 800 to sunlight very quickly. My quickest reaction was to dial in a higer shutter speed until I had the correct exposure so shutter speed ended up being 1/4000 while ISO still sat at 800! So if time wasn

    Here is another I took right after the one posted. Not as good as the one above IMO but the lens still hung in there with decent focus ...

    That is a great capture of the bee Denise! I have been trying for a bee and dragon in flight this entire summer and nothing. I am very impressed and like your new macro a bunch.

    Thanks, Jayson! These are handheld so a tripod and the macro slider I sold would sure improve them but still, I think this lens is Sigma

    That's were I think using a prime has helped me. I am very used to a paricular lens because it never changesandI knowwhat it can do, that it makes it easier (for me at least)to compose a shot that way.Not to mention I really like thisfocal length, I have said this beforewhen/if I get a FFafast 35mmprime is coming with it.

    This had all the potential of being a really cool macro shot ...if only I wouldn't have messed up on my apeture setting![:'(]

    What do mean? It looks great - eyes are in-focus and the background is creamy enough to be non-distracting. What were you going for?
